Facilities and manufacturing
Metal transformation section
This section has approximately 1,000 m².
CNC press brakes, CNC and semi-automatic cutting machines, presses, drills — everything needed to form tubes and sheets with maximum precision.
Welding section
This section occupies approximately 1,100 m².
Criado has made significant investment efforts in this section. Most welding processes are robotized — approximately 70% of each container.
There are three robotic welding lines
- ROBOT 1: Two rotary tables up to 250 kg capacity, parts up to 2,000 mm long
- ROBOT 2: Column robot, with two stations
- ROBOT 3: Two rotary tables up to 2,000 kg capacity, parts up to 7,000 mm long
All robots are from the Fanuc Robotics brand, integrated by Motofil.
The MIG/MAG welding equipment is from the Kemppi brand. There are 15 units in the section.
There is an independent department consisting of 2 operators and 1 engineer reporting to the Welding section, fully dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of welding tooling and calibration elements, to equip the robotic welding processes with the necessary means.
This department is of great importance to ensure deliveries on time and with the quality required by the welding section and our customers.
Painting section
This section occupies approximately 1,200 m².
There is a 77-metre overhead conveyor that feeds containers to the painting line.
Electrostatic painting equipment from Wagner (2 units) and automatic epoxy/polyurethane mixers are used in the painting process.
All containers are properly degreased before the painting process.
Painting processes are homologated and comply with the Daimler DBL 7381 standard.
Assembly section
This section occupies approximately 450 m².
Final assembly operations are carried out here, such as fitting textile conditioning, separator combs, separator fingers, etc.
